Math is Cool in 7th Grade!
Everyone wants to be successful. Here are some helpful hints to prepare for success in seventh grade math:
1. Come to class prepared to learn.
2. On the first day of the week a warm up worksheet will be given out. Don't lose it! If you are absent the first day, make sure you get it upon returning to school.
3. Make sure all sections of the warm up are complete by Friday. The worksheet will be collect 10 minutes after class begins. It must be turned in at that point to get full credit. If you miss class on Friday, be sure to turn it in on your first day back for full credit.
4. Study Island is assigned for home work each week. This is a computerized assignment consisting of ten problems. Study Island is not to be completed mentally. Scratch paper and other resources should be used. Completing this assignment early in the week allows time for extra help and the chance to try again before the Friday deadline.
